The
Employee of the Year award for 2002 was presented to Rose
Caputo, Mt. Olive Township Building Division. The Employee
of the Year plaque was presented to Mrs. Caputo by Mayor
Licitra at a recent Council Meeting. The criteria for the
Employee of the Year award includes performance excellence,
reliability, loyalty, and years of dedicated service to
the Township. "Rose has a tremendous amount of knowledge
about the Building Division processes and truly adds value
to the Township," the Mayor said.
Rose began her career in the MOT Building Division in 1971,
and has witnessed the evolution of the Township first hand.
The Building Division has seen a tremendous increase in
applications over the years due to the growth in the Township.
"I worked in the Building Division before there were
apartment complexes, shopping centers and big businesses
in town, and it was nice watching the town grow" Rose
said. The thing she loves most about her job is helping
people and the diversified nature of the work.
A resident of Mt. Olive Township, Rose has two daughters,
one son and 4 grandchildren, all grown and married.
