Objective: The Township of Mount Olive/Borough of Netcong Shared Court is seeking a qualified individual for the position of Deputy Municipal Court Administrator. Excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, organization, ability to work under pressure and ability to work as a team member is a must.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: interacting with citizens, attorneys and law enforcement officers; preparing and reviewing daily, weekly and monthly reports; drafting correspondence; data entry; all phases of case processing; complying with the New Jersey Rules of Court, administrative directives, laws and established policies and procedures governing the operation of the Municipal Courts.

Applicants who are not certified by the New Jersey Supreme Court or in the process of obtaining certification, or who are not fully accredited pursuant to R1:41-3 must be willing to obtain conditional accreditation within six months of hire and become fully accredited within three years of hire date.

The hiring process will comply with R1:34-3, adopted September 13, 2011.

The Municipal Court office hours are Monday-Friday, 8:30am to 4:40pm. The work week is 37.5 hours including Monday afternoon court sessions. The successful candidate will be required to be on call on a rotating basis for arrests after business hours.

  Job Opening: Fire Inspector
   

Position Type: Part-Time (5 hours per week)
Start Date: January 13, 2014
Salary: $15.00 per hour

Objective: Qualified candidate must be organized, attentive to detail, accurate and able to communicate well with the public. Under direction of the Fire Marshal, inspects premises of buildings to detect and eliminate fire hazards, and to enforce the provisions of the relevant fire safety codes and regulated regulations; does other related duties. Must possess current valid Fire Inspector certification issued by the New Jersey Department of Community (attach to application) and valid NJ driver’s license.
