Men's 39+ Basketball

The 39+ Basketball Program begins in September and runs thru June. The Program is sponsored by the Mt. Olive Recreation Dept and is limited to adults 39 years and older. Pick-up games are scheduled on weeknights starting at 7:00pm (actual dates/schedule TBD). Reserve your spot on the 2008-09 roster soon - program capacity is limited. Registration can be done at the gym or at the Rec. Dept.

The 2008/2009 season starts from mid September to mid June.

Monday 6:00 – 7:00 PM  
“Step & Sculpt”- a step class for all levels alternating toning segments using low level weights..
Tuesday  7:00- 8:00 PM 
“Boot Camp” - it is all in this class. Intensity, strength training and even a little kickboxing focused on the “core”. Weights, dyna-bands and the step are used.
Wednesday 7:00 – 8:00 PM 
 “Pilates” - a core conditioning class that includes targeted exercises for butt, gut & thighs.  Also lots of great stretches for the entire body.
Thursday 7:00 – 8:00 PM 
“Buts & Guts ” –25 minutes of concentrated lower body standing toning exercises followed by 25 minutes of Pilates focused on abdominal strength.
Saturday 9:00 – 10:00 AM 
  “Total Tone” - a strength training class designed to firm both upper & lower body. Includes low impact aerobics with dyna-bands.
Sunday 8:30 – 9:30 AM  “15/15/15”
15 minutes of Step, 15 minutes of aerobics, 15 minutes of toning and abs at the end

Body Ball Blast Class

Days: Mon., Weds. & Thurs. Time: 6:45pm - 7:45pm
Cost: $45 Monthly $7 per class
Location: Mt Olive High School Adaptive PE room

Come and perform a variety of strength training, balance, core and flexibility exercises set to music using a stability ball.
Challenge your body! Anyone can do it! When using a ball you are working multiple muscles at one time.
The class is fun and challenging and will improve your whole body strength.

Morris County Adventure Boot Camp for Women


 4 week fitness transformation that incorporates a variety of activities including cardio, drills, light weight training, stretching and core work with games and adventure themes to make fitness fun.
You will be empowered each day with expert nutritional guidance by a 20 year fitness industry leader and certified nutrition counselor through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. Before and After Assessments included.
Sept. 8th through Oct. 3rd  4 days per week M-Th @ 5:30-6:30 AM. Co-ed.
Must have 12 participants.
