Students will learn
the basic fundamentals of camera operation through classroom
lesson and on hand use. Use of digital and film cameras
will be put into practice. Students should bring in
their own camera.
Here is a high level
outline of the program… This is subject to change
and adjust as the program unfolds.
1st Class
– Basic Photography: Students will be given an
overview of the fundamentals of photography. This will
include basic camera operation, & composition of
subject.
2nd Class
– Disposable camera use… Students
will apply the composition aspect of the 1st class.
3rd Class
– Students will review the disposable
camera photos. Digital camera use... Students will apply
the basic camera & composition aspect of the 1st
class.
4th Class
– Students will review the digital camera
photos. Film camera use… Students will apply the
basic camera & composition aspect of the previous
classes.
5th Class
(last) – Students will review the film camera photos
and compare the differences between each type of camera.

Learn
to Skate
Welcome to the Learn to Skate Program at Skorplex
Ice and Tur(formally Chill out, Hackettstown ).
We promote skating for wellness for the whole
family. Classes are offered for Tots through Adults.
The classes are grouped by age and ability level and everyone
works as one group. It is not uncommon for a student to
repeat a level before mastering all the skills at that
level. The Learn to Skate program helps you master new
skills in each lesson that build on your past lesson,
so that the time you spend on the ice is always enjoyable
and rewarding! The program is designed to assist anyone
to learn how to skate so that they can advance into areas
such as, Hockey, Figure Skating, Speedskating or Recreational
Skating.
This program offers a skill progression designed to enhance
the capabilities of all skaters.

Hula and Tahitian Dance are the story telling languages of the Polynesian Islands.
Watch your little girl sparkle with the magic of hula as she dances in this fun filled and informative class.
She will learn simple but lovely hula movements.
This program combines the great exercise, eye/ hand coordination, Island sign language and rhythm of Hula dance
with cultural enrichment activities as well.
Last class will include a quick performance for our parents.

Let’s Bloom Together
Go Green!Let’s Bloom Together is an enrichment program that provides fun and engrossing environmental science lessons that
include horticultural activities that help to develop an appreciation for nature, provides practical application of  environmental stewardship and life lessons.
At the end of the program, each child will get to bring home their own project(s), and continue their involvement beyond the 6 week class time.
