PEAK's Music and Movement class gives kids ages 3 and older the chance to explore activities such as yoga, pilates and dance. Each 30 minute class will focus on a different activity while exploring a range of musical arrangements.

Peak
Karate'-do

PEAK Karate-do introduces special needs children to the
fundamentals of martial arts, including listening skills,
self-discipline, simple tumbling, punching, kicking, and
basic warmup exercises. Emphasis is placed upon listening
to directions and a positive attitude. Children work at
their own pace in a non-competitive positive atmosphere.
The class is taught by a black belt instructor with 15+
years experience teaching special needs children. Volunteers
are available if a child needs individual assistance to
participate.
Dates: Mondays, Jan 9-March 26, no class Jan. 16, Feb. 20

Preschool Playgroup
Calling all preschool kids! Come play
with us! Are you looking for a way to help your child
learn those social cues and have a little fun while doing
it? Well, we're starting a play group just for preschoolers!
Starting in June we will be meeting at
a different local park every Friday at 5:00pm. Siblings

USA Soccer is back to teach our kids how fun the sport of soccer can be. Younger children will learn through games, while older children will learn more advanced skills.

Mentor Training

PEAK Volunteer Training Workshop
Are you interested in working with children of various disabilities?
PEAK will be offering it's second volunteer workshop this
spring. PEAK Parents and Instructors will share strategies
to effectively work with children who have disabilities
such as Autism, Down Syndrome, CP, and more. CPR training
will also be included for students and adult instructors.
All participants must be ages 8 and above.

Come meet other area special needs moms, learn about local recreation programs for your kids and have a stress-free, kid-free evening! Limit: 16 moms.
