Pony Introductory Program

The PIP (one time Pony Introductory Program) for children ages 3 to 13

June 26
1-2:30pm

Ages 3-13
Cost: $39

Location: Flanders Park Soccer parking lot

The PIP is a 90 minutes all around rotational program that aims to familiarize its participants (in separate groups according to age and prior experience-if any) to the wonderful world of horses using size-related ponies and cobs, easier to handle and less intimidating than their full size equine counterparts. PIP comes to your Township a few weeks before a week-long PEP or PGRP are scheduled, in order to allow the children to "taste the waters" and decide whether or not to they would like to participate in these week long programs.
During this one time 90 minutes Introductory Program, the children will spend fun time riding the ponies & horses for about 20 minutes then rotate between other stations where they'll learn about safety, grooming, careers in the industry, horse care and handling.

Participants may register for this introductory program by itself for the $39 fee or pair it with either the week-long PEP or PGRP and get $20 cash back from PonyShare.

Sessions aim to help develop confidence and motor-coordination skills while providing a supportive, fun, non-threatening environment for the participants as well as social interaction among them. This is a participatory program for parents who so desire so one may be asked to occasionally lend a hand. The perfect preparation for private or semi-private lessons for eager young aspiring Equestrians!.
