In these difficult economic times, we have seen a significant increase in requests for scholarships for recreation programs. Recreation activities/programs are a vital quality of life service that has so many benefits - developing healthy lifestyles, combating childhood obesity, reducing stress, connecting families, character/virtue development, and the list goes on.

We are starting a Sunshine Recreation Scholarship Fund that you can help support!

Calorie Blaster Fundraiser
Presented by the Mt Olive Fitness Guru's

Mt. Olive is hosting a fundraiser for the Recreation Sunshine Scholarship Fund.
This event is for anyone who loves to work out and wants to have some fun.
The event will start with a 35 minute cardio workout with Laura.
Followed by a 35 minute session of strength training on a stability ball with Marie.
We will end the event with a 35 minute session of Zumba! (A combination of salsa, merengue hip hop and belly dancing.)

Donations
We are starting a Sunshine Recreation Scholarship Fund that you can help support. Your donation will be used to provide funds to allow children from financially challenged families to participate in Recreation Department programs. Families that receive scholarships, are also expected to give back to the community, through volunteering in our Community Service projects. Your support of our community, will allow others to give back and support our community. For businesses that need to donate or match funds given to a non-profit entity (a non-profit 501 3(c), Mt. Olive Park Partners supports Township recreation and parks is partnering with us in this endeavor. All other donations can be made to Mt. Olive Recreation. (Both are tax deductible).

The Sunshine Recreation Scholarship Sponsors page on our web site will provide a hyperlink to the participating business' websites. Press releases about upcoming programming will thank our Sunshine Recreation Scholarship Sponsors. Our new Recreation E-newsletter (which will be issued biweekly!) will have a hyperlink to our Sunshine Recreation Scholarship Sponsors page.
