ATTENTION CUSTOMERS OF THE GOLDMINE MUNICIPAL WATER SYSTEM AND PRIVATE WELL USERS IN THE SURROUNDING AREA:

EFFECTIVE UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE

PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT THE TOWNSHIP OF MOUNT OLIVE IS HEREBY ANNOUNCING A TOTAL BAN ON OUTSIDE WATER USE FROM ALL SOURCES (PUBLIC OR PRIVATELY OWNED) IN ACCORDANCE WITH TOWNSHIP CODE, ARTICLE V, SECTION 196-32 ENTITLED “RESTRICTIONS ON WATER USE”. IT IS IMPERATIVE THAT EACH WATER CONSUMER TAKE MEASURES TO CONSERVE WATER AND HELP ENSURE ADEQUATE WATER SUPPLIES FOR THE HEALTH AND SAFETY OF OUR COMMUNITY.

UNDER THIS ORDER, PRIVATELY OWNED WELLS ARE RESTRICTED IN THE FOLLOWING AREAS:

1. FLANDERS ROAD
2. MARLYN TERRACE
3. CLINTON AVENUE
4. STOKES AVENUE
5. WOODBINE AVENUE
6. CHELSEA DRIVE
7. MADISON AVENUE
8. WYNNEWOOD ROAD

VIOLATORS ARE SUBJECT TO FINES. If you have any questions or would like to report a violation, please contact the Water Department at (973) 584 –7086.
